Artificial intelligence to ease procurement process in future

“Suppliers, using artificial intelligence systems operating on the same principle as today's taxi aggregators can distribute between themselves orders for simple, standardized warehouse products and compete for them,” Pavel Tikhomirov, head of the Analytical Center’s Corporate Reform and Procurement Department said at the first meeting of the Procurers Discussion Club.

Russia needs new low-carbon policy instruments

As part of combating climate change, the European Commission is about to submit proposals for the introduction of a carbon border tax, the Analytical Center experts say in a new energy bulletin. The "carbon footprint" accounting in imported products is aimed at stimulating trading partners to improve domestic environmental policy, but at the same time, it can negatively affect the supply volumes of exporting states.
